Glen Dry, M.S.

Glen Dry has served part-time with Serenity Counseling Services since June of 2022, bringing decades of leadership, ministry, and discipleship experience to his work with individuals and families. Glen is passionate about helping men grow in faith, accountability, and personal responsibility while developing stronger relationships with God, their families, and their communities.

Glen is a graduate of Texas A&M University (1997) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2000), where he earned a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling as well as a Master’s degree in Christian Education. Before entering full-time ministry work, Glen spent five years working in the corporate Fortune 500 world, gaining valuable leadership and organizational experience that continues to influence his work today.

Throughout his career, Glen has focused on equipping men and strengthening families through discipleship, mentorship, and community engagement. He founded Man to Man, a ministry dedicated to discipling and mentoring men in their faith and leadership roles. Glen is also the co-founder of the Family Outdoor Expo and Camp WhetStone – Outfitting for Life, initiatives designed to encourage families and young people to grow in character, faith, and life skills through meaningful outdoor experiences.

In addition to his ministry leadership, Glen is a contributing writer for SportsmanDevotional.com and the author of several men’s Bible studies and accountability resources. He is also a frequent speaker at men’s events, couples retreats, and student gatherings, where he encourages others to pursue authentic faith and healthy relationships.

Glen actively serves in a variety of leadership roles within the community. He is a board member for Perpetual Help Home and the National Coalition of Ministries to Men, and he serves on the Advisory Council for Habitat for Humanity, supporting initiatives that strengthen families and communities.

Glen has a particular passion for men’s discipleship and one-on-one mentorship, helping men build strong accountability systems and develop practical strategies for personal and spiritual growth. He also brings significant experience in organizing and leading large community events, including the Family Outdoor Expo and RezFest, which bring families and communities together around faith, fellowship, and outdoor activities.

Through his work with Serenity Counseling Services, Glen seeks to encourage individuals—especially men—to grow in faith, leadership, and personal responsibility while building stronger relationships with those around them.

Serenity Counseling Services is especially grateful for Glen’s dedication to serving our clients, as he faithfully travels from Victoria to invest in the lives of those we serve. Glen also deeply values his family and has been married to his wife for 28 years. Together they are the proud parents of three children – Allen (23), Bailey (21),  and Casey (16).
